Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in manufacturing, operations management or engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing industries.
• Experience managing production teams.
• Familiarity with production planning and factory automation systems.
• Experience working in ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 environments.
• Knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Production Leadership

• Manage and lead the production department to achieve output, quality, and delivery KPIs.
• Develop and implement production, manpower, and capacity plans to support project demands.
• Manage production scheduling and resource allocation for fabrication and assembly lines.
• Drive productivity improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce material wastage.
• Ensure timely completion of customer orders and project requirements.

Fabrication and Assembly Operations

• Oversee daily operations processing, production and fabrication.
• Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions to meet operational targets.
• Coordinate closely with planning, logistics, and project teams to ensure smooth work flow and delivery execution.
• Review production reports and identify opportunities for process optimization and cost improvement.

Workforce Management

• Lead Supervisor, Team Leaders, Machine Operators, and production staffs.
• Manage workforce planning, overtime, productivity, and deployment to meet operational requirements.
• Develop training programs to enhance technical competency, safety awareness, and leadership capabilities.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to improve team performance and engagement.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Quality Management and Safety Compliance

• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements.
• Maintain quality standards fabrication and production processes.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce defects, rework, and customer complaints.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve product quality, production accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and client requirements.
• Ensure full compliance with Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety policies.
• Support ISO45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System implementation and compliance.
• Lead safety inspections, toolbox meetings, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Promote a strong safety culture across production and yard operations.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safe work practices throughout the facility.

Maintenance & AssetManagement

• Oversee and manage the building maintenance with external vendor.
• Monitor performance of fabrication machinery, automated equipment and production assets.
• Coordinate with external vendors to ensure equipment readiness and operational efficiency.
• Support machinery upgrades and technology adoption initiatives.

Logistics & DeliveryCoordination

• Work closely with logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of fabricated products.
• Optimize production and delivery schedules to support project timelines and customer requirements.
• Support and implement digital tracking systems to enhance inventory visibility and operational planning.
• Ensure smooth coordination between production, warehouse, and logistic.

Preferred Competencies & Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing related industries.
