Job summary

People Solutions Partners PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Operations Engineering Director to oversee Batam-based manufacturing and engineering operations and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's/MBA preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant management experience.
• Strong manufacturing and operations leadership experience.
• Proven experience managing P&L and operational performance.
• Strong leadership, planning and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production and delivery on time, in full, to customer specifications and at competitive cost.
• Define operational and financial goals.
• Set and communicate Business Unit goals and assignments.
• Develop and execute operational programs in line with strategic plans and annual operating goals.
• Review key operational indicators with senior management at least monthly.
• Participate in quarterly business reviews with key customers.
• Work with other business functions to establish strategic plans and goals.
• Oversee purchasing, production control, planning, manufacturing engineering, test engineering, maintenance, manufacturing and logistics.
• Work with HR to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

Our client is an established manufacturing company with operations in Batam, Indonesia. The company is looking for an experienced operations leader to oversee its manufacturing and engineering operations and drive operational excellence.

About the Role

The Operations Engineering Director will report directly to the General Manager and take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the business.

You will lead multiple operational functions and ensure that production targets, customer requirements, cost objectives and business goals are consistently achieved.
