Job summary

DYNACAST (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead manufacturing operations in Batam.

You will drive productivity, quality, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement across production, process engineering, maintenance and quality functions. You will develop production plans, monitor OEE and other KPIs, and lead a high-performing team while collaborating with engineering, QA, maintenance and customer service to resolve issues and optimize flow.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of manufacturing experience with 3–5 years in the same role.
• Experience in plastic injection molding, die casting, metal stamping or precision engineering (advantage).
• Strong knowledge of production management, processes, quality control, maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills to motivate a high-performing team.
• Experience with RBA, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and IATF audits.
• Excellent analytical, communication and decision-making skills.
• Willing to be based in Batam, Indonesia.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for Production Manager position.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily manufacturing operations, including production and support functions.
• Develop and execute production plans to meet output, quality, delivery and cost targets.
• Monitor KPIs such as OEE, productivity, yield, scrap, downtime and on-time delivery.
• Optimize manpower, machine capacity, materials and production flow for efficiency.
• Collaborate with Engineering Project, Quality, Maintenance, Customer Service and Toolroom teams.
• Drive 5S and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, downtime and costs.
• Lead, coach and develop production supervisors, engineers and operators to build a high-performing team.
• Provide regular operational reports and recommendations to senior management.
• Be based in Batam, Indonesia.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant manufacturing experience with at least 3-5 years in the same role.
• Experience in plastic injection molding, die casting, metal stamping or precision engineering will be an advantage
• Strong knowledge of production management, manufacturing processes, quality control, maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high performing team.
• Experience in RBA, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF audit requirements.
• Good analytical, communication and decision-making skills.
• Willing to be based in Batam, Indonesia.
• Candidateswith less experience will be considered for the Production Manager position.
