Job summary

Harold Consultancy is seeking an enthusiastic logistics professional to ensure end-to-end visibility and control across our customers’ supply chains. You will act as the main liaison for customers, carriers, and suppliers while processing orders, booking transport, and monitoring shipments to uphold service levels.

The role requires a Diploma in Logistics or related field and hands-on experience with TMS/WMS systems, plus strong Excel/Power BI skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma in logistics-related field is required.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI for data reporting.
• Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
• Familiarity with Transport Management or Warehouse Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for customers, carriers and suppliers during daily operations.
• Process orders, prepare shipping documents and book transport per routing and service levels.
• Monitor shipments to ensure adherence to procedures and standards.
• Resolve customer requests and disruptions in the supply chain promptly.
• Escalate complex issues to Operations Manager with clear communication.
• Mentor junior team members in resolving operational problems.
• Ensure timely shipment tracking updates from suppliers and carriers.
• Investigate missing data and fix inconsistencies in the visibility system.
• Prepare reports, data insights, and presentations for reviews.
• Review KPIs and suggest practical improvements to management.
• Assist onboarding of new suppliers and explain SOPs and event protocols.
• Coordinate team workload, schedules and leave planning for smooth daily operations.

About the role

Provide customers with exceptional Visibility and Control across their entire supply chain through our global network of Control Towers. Services include Supplier and Order Management, Transport Planning and Monitoring, and Performance & Cost Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for customers, carriers, and suppliers during day-to-day operations.
• Process customer orders, prepare shipping documents, and book transport with carriers according to agreed routing and service levels.
• Monitor shipments to ensure all parties follow established procedures and work standards.
• Handle customer requests and resolve supply chain disruptions as they arise.
• Escalate complex or critical issues to the Operations Manager promptly with clear communication.
• Guide and support junior team members in resolving operational problems.
• Ensure suppliers and carriers provide accurate and timely shipment tracking updates (milestones).
• Investigate missing data and fix inconsistencies to keep our visibility system reliable.
• Assist in preparing reports, data insights, and presentations for monthly and quarterly reviews.
• Review KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and suggest practical solutions to management.
• Support the onboarding of new suppliers, ensuring they understand and follow our processes, event management protocols, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Help coordinate team workload, schedules, and leave planning to ensure smooth daily operations.

Ideal candidate

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or a related field
• Minimum of 1 year of operational experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
• Good understanding of at least one transport mode (Air, Ocean, or Ground).
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, or Power BI skills.
• Familiarity with Transportation or Warehouse Management Systems (TMS/WMS).
• Strong spoken and written English skills.
