Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Operations professional to join the Controls & Reporting team. The role focuses on daily operational controls, reconciliations, and regulatory reporting, with oversight of the Operations team.

Key responsibilities include COI reconciliation, reporting to agents and regulators, and providing day-to-day support to ensure timely and accurate operations. Strong Excel skills and stakeholder management are essential for success.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in investment operations or a related operations environment.
• Knowledge of Unit Trusts or investment products would be advantageous.
• Experience or knowledge in Cost of Investments reconciliation/reporting is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, PivotTables and basic formulas.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good stakeholder management, communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work independently, manage priorities and adapt to changing operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operational control checks and promptly elevate discrepancies or irregularities.
• Manage Cost of Investments (COI) reconciliation and reporting involving Agent Banks.
• Liaise with service providers, vendors and relevant external stakeholders on operational and reporting matters.
• Perform first-level calculations for trade delays or processing issues and coordinate compensation processing where required.
• Prepare and support regulatory, management and stakeholder reporting, including FATCA and CRS reporting.
• Provide day-to-day oversight and support to the Operations team, including operational planning and workload management.
• Perform reconciliations, data maintenance and other operational support activities as required.
