Job summary

Astro Health is looking for an Operations Associate (Office of the COO) to oversee pharmacy fulfilment, inventory, facilities, and future clinic expansion in Singapore. You’ll be hands-on from day one, measuring processes and building a team as the business scales across brands.

You will report to the COO, own end-to-end operations, and drive improvements with a clear path to leadership within a multi-brand healthcare group. A hybrid role with on-site work is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record.
• 0–3 years of experience; show us a project you built or ran.
• Enterprising by default; start things and run multiple workstreams.
• Good with people and exacting on detail; lead a packing team from week one.
• Comfortable with AI.
• Based in Singapore with a hybrid work arrangement; physical pharmacy operations.

Operations Associate (Office of the COO)

Location and eligibility. This is a Singapore-based, hybrid role, not a remote one: you will be on-site at our pharmacy and office most days. We will be prioritising applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore and do not require visa sponsorship.

The role

Astro Health is a founder-led healthcare group with seven-figure monthly revenue. Our first venture, Trimly (trimly.sg), is an MOH-licensed clinic providing medical weight management in Singapore, with an in-house pharmacy that delivers to patients’ doors. A physical clinic is on the way and more brands are planned.

Today our COO personally runs pharmacy fulfilment, inventory, facilities, and the clinic expansion. We are hiring their right hand to take that engine over, run it better than we do, systemise it, and grow into leading operations across every brand we launch. Run, build, lead.

This is not an admin job with a nicer title. It is the pipeline to Head of Operations, and it starts where every good operator starts: on the floor, with the numbers.

What you’ll own from day one

• Pharmacy fulfilment. Roster and lead our packers, own the SOPs, resolve delivery escalations. The last mile of the patient experience.
• Inventory and supply. Forecast demand, place orders, manage supplier invoices. Medication is one of our largest cost lines; forecasting well moves margin and cash.
• Office and facilities. Landlord, utilities, security, repairs, procurement.
• Clinic expansion. Site viewings, procurement, fit-out, hiring and onboarding for the new site. You will help open our first physical clinic.

Some of this is admin. The difference is what you do with it: every process above is yours to measure, redesign, streamline, and hand to a team you’ve built.

Where this goes

• 0-6 months. Own the four areas end to end. Know every number, supplier, and failure mode.
• 6-18 months. Lead clinic-launch workstreams, replace manual processes with systems, make your first hires, take on a new brand’s operations.
• Beyond. Operations Lead, then Head of Operations, with VP-level scope as the group grows. We would rather grow that person than hire them.

Timelines depend on you and on the company hitting its plan. What we commit to: scope grows as fast as you can carry it, and compensation is reviewed with scope, not on a calendar.

• 0-3 years of experience. No operations role needed; show us something you’ve built or run: a side project, a club, a startup internship, a case competition
• Enterprising by default: you start things unasked, run several workstreams in parallel, and chase your own loose ends
• Good with people and exacting on detail. You’ll lead a packing team from week one; in a pharmacy, close enough isn’t
• Comfortable with AI
• Based in Singapore and happy with a hybrid work arrangement; our pharmacy operations are physical

What we offer

• S$3,800-5,000 a month, depending on experience, plus 13th month bonus and up to 3 months of variable bonus
