Job summary

Thinking Cup Learning Asia Pte Ltd is offering an Internship in Operations & Administration at United Square, Singapore, with travel to other club locations. Duration is 3-6 months, full-time, and includes an internship allowance plus a $40/hour bonus for any hours spent teaching chess.

You will support procurement, admin tasks for external school classes, and day-to-day operations across sites. Optional teaching duties are paid separately at the same bonus rate.

Qualifications

• Organised, detail-oriented, able to juggle multiple tasks.
• Strong written communication for school-facing correspondence.
• Reliable and proactive across school and club sites.
• Chess-playing ability is a strong plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle procurement: sourcing, ordering, and tracking chess sets, materials, and supplies for classes and club locations.
• Manage administrative matters for external school classes - email correspondence, scheduling tutors, preparing proposals, and finalising arrangements with schools.
• Support day-to-day operations at United Square and other club locations (setup, logistics, coordination with staff/tutors).
• Assist with teaching chess classes (bonus) paid at an additional $40/hour on top of internship allowance.
