Job summary

JIALE KOPITIAM PTE. LTD. is seeking a kitchen team member to support inventory management, verify incoming supplies, and assist in the preparation and design of food and drinks menus.

You will produce high quality plated dishes, handle washing and cutting of ingredients, maintain clean preparation areas, enforce sanitation and safety standards, and respond calmly to operational challenges while serving customers.

Responsibilities

• Order supplies to stock inventory.
• Verify and endorse all incoming products & raw materials
• Help in the preparation and design of all food and drinks menus.
• Produce high quality plated dishes in design and taste.
• Assist in preparation and prep tasks including washing, peeling, chopping, and cutting ingredients.
• Clean food preparation equipment and kitchen tools.
• Ensure prep areas are clean and hygienic.
• Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Resolve issues quickly and manage difficult situations.
• Monitor portion control to meet requests and minimize waste.
• Maintain a positive, professional approach with customers.

• Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation
• Monitor portion control to meet requests and minimize waste
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with customers
