Job summary

You will supervise drivers and staff, plan schedules, manage fleet utilization, and drive continuous improvement. Required is a minimum of 8 years in waste management or portable hygiene industries, with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of fleet management, vehicle maintenance, scheduling and operational planning.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Able to work independently and handle a fast-paced operational environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the overall daily operations of the Singapore office and depot, ensuring smooth, safe and efficient operations.
• Manage and supervise drivers and operational staff, including work allocation, attendance, performance, training and discipline.
• Plan and coordinate daily truck and driver schedules to meet operational requirements, customer demands and KPI targets.
• Manage fleet, including vehicle utilisation, maintenance, inspections and breakdown management to maximise efficiency.
• Conduct regular truck inspections to ensure vehicles and safety requirements are maintained.
• Monitor equipment and depot facilities to ensure proper management and storage of materials and chemicals.
• Monitor and improve operational systems, processes and workflows, and implement best practices to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs, equipment utilisation and revenue targets, and implement corrective actions.
• Identify operational issues and root causes of breakdowns and delays, and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure services meet quality standards, including maintenance and servicing for Portable and Premium Toilets.
• Provide guidance and training to drivers and staff to perform duties safely and efficiently.
• Handle on-site technical, operational and customer-related issues during daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety/regulatory requirements.
• Prepare regular operational reports to management on fleet performance and KPI achievement.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

• Manage and supervise drivers and operational staff, including work allocation, attendance, performance, training and discipline.


• Plan and coordinate daily truck and driver schedules to meet operational requirements, customer demands and KPI targets.


• Manage the company's lorry/truck fleet, including vehicle utilisation, maintenance, inspections and breakdown management to maximise fleet efficiency and minimise downtime.


• Conduct regular and random truck inspections to ensure vehicles, equipment and safety requirements are properly maintained.


• Monitor equipment and depot facilities to ensure they are in good working condition and ensure proper management and storage of operational materials and chemicals.


• Monitor and improve operational systems, processes and workflows, and implement best practices to improve productivity and efficiency.


• Monitor monthly and yearly operational KPIs, equipment utilisation and revenue targets, and implement corrective actions where required.


• Identify operational issues and root causes of vehicle breakdowns, service delays and other operational problems, and implement effective solutions.


• Ensure all services and workmanship meet the company's required quality standards, including the proper maintenance and servicing standards for Portable and Premium Toilets.


• Provide guidance, coaching and training to drivers and operational staff to ensure they perform their duties safely, efficiently and in accordance with company standards.


• Handle and resolve on-site technical, operational and customer-related issues that may arise during daily operations.


• Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies, safety requirements and applicable regulatory requirements.


• Prepare and provide regular operational reports and updates to management on fleet performance, manpower, KPI achievement, breakdowns and other operational matters.


• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the business.

Requirements:
