Job summary

People Puzzle Solutions Asia Pacific PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily logistics, delivery and moving operations in Singapore. The role focuses on managing manpower, vehicles, job scheduling and ensuring safety and on-time service.

You will lead drivers and movers, coordinate schedules, monitor performance, and maintain records while driving cost efficiency and service quality.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in logistics, transportation, delivery, moving or warehouse operations.
• Previous supervisory or team-management experience.
• Strong planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with Singapore roads and commercial vehicle operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily delivery and moving schedules
• Coordinate drivers, movers, vehicles and equipment for each assignment
• Assign jobs and brief operational teams on customers' requirements
• Monitor ongoing assignments and resolve operational issues promptly
• Ensure goods are collected, transported and delivered safely and on time
• Conduct site assessments and determine manpower, vehicle and equipment requirements
• Liaise with customers regarding schedules, access arrangements and service matters
• Manage vehicle maintenance, inspections and repair schedules
• Monitor staff attendance, overtime, productivity and performance
• Train and supervise drivers and movers
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, traffic and company procedures
• Investigate accidents, service complaints and damaged-item reports
• Maintain operational records and prepare management reports
• Control operating costs and improve manpower and vehicle utilisation
• Support recruitment and workforce planning for the operations team
• Perform other operational duties assigned by management

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management or a related discipline
• At least three years of relevant experience in logistics, transportation, delivery, moving or warehouse operations
• Previous supervisory or team‑management experience
• Strong planning, coordination and problem‑solving skills
• Able to manage drivers, movers and multiple assignments simultaneously
• Familiar with Singapore roads and commercial vehicle operations
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Good communication and customer-service skills
• Able to work under pressure and respond to operational matters outside regular working hours
• Possession of a valid Singapore class 4 driving license is an advantage
