Job summary

Dikshatek is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to lead the test automation strategy for BFSI/payments domains, design the automation architecture, and define standards and tools to be used.

You will develop automated test scripts using TestComplete, integrate execution into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and efficient regression testing. This on-site 6-month role starts end July in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of manual testing experience in BFSI/Payments domains.
• At least 5 years in test automation using TestComplete by Smartbear.
• Strong scripting knowledge for automation support.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Review, design and define overall test automation strategy, tools and technologies.
• Create test strategies, plans and automation architecture with standards and processes.
• Translate manual test cases into automated scripts for TestComplete.
• Lead design and development of test automation scenarios and scripts.
• Analyze existing automation frameworks and improve efficiency and coverage.
• Execute test cases with TestComplete and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with teams to plan automation sprints and report progress.

Test Automation Engineer

• Review/Design/Define overall Test automation strategy, tools and technologies for test automation
• Creating test Strategies, test plans, defining the automation architecture, including specification of all standards, methods, processes and tools to be used
• Understand the requirements, journeys, test cases that are successfully executed for manual testing; these are to be delivered for test automation
• Leads the design & development of the Test Automation scenarios, scripts using Test complete suite (by Smartbear).
• Analyze and understand existing test coverage and automation frameworks, identifying opportunities for redesign, replacement, reusability, and improvement in efficiency and performance
• Execute test cases using Test Complete tool
• Interwork with other teams and development team to integrate automated test execution into the CI/CD pipelines as part of Sprint or regression testing
• Prepare plan for test automation sprints and share progress/status with customer and internal governance teams

Skills

• 7+ years of manual testing experience in BFSI/Payment domains
• Atleast 5+ years in test automation experience with functional, regression, and automation testing tools specifically Test Complete by Smartbear
• Experience developing automated test scripts using Test Complete
• Experience working in public sector domain
• In-depth scripting knowledge experience for automation support
• Experience in ALM tools like Jira / Microfocus / Rally etc.
• Knowledge of UI testing, web services testing, API testing, device testing
• Experienced in Agile, DevOps, TDD, BDD methodologies and processes
• Strong analytical, problem solving skills with good written and oral communication skills
