Job summary

Infosys Singapore & Australia is seeking an Automation Tester to design, develop, and execute automated tests for web, mobile, and API applications. The role emphasizes strong automation skills, QA methodology, and the ability to work in Agile teams.

You will build and maintain frameworks, integrate tests into CI/CD, analyze requirements, and contribute to test reports and dashboards to ensure quality releases.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Experience in API test automation using REST Assured, Postman, or Karate.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with Git and test management tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, or TestRail.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks using industry‑standard tools and best practices.
• Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to create effective test plans.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure consistent execution across environments.
• Identify defects, document findings, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis for automation failures and optimize scripts for reliability.
• Prepare and maintain detailed test reports, dashboards, and documentation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
