Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Singapore seeks an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated tests using Selenium WebDriver.

You will build robust automation frameworks in Java, integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with developers and analysts to improve software quality.

4+ years of hands-on testing experience is required, with on-site work at Changi Business Park for a 1-year fixed-term contract.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Selenium WebDriver experience.
• Strong programming/scripting skills in Java.
• Experience with TestNG/JUnit frameworks.
• Knowledge of Page Object Model and reusable test components.
• API testing experience (Postman/REST Assured).
• Familiarity with Git and Jenkins CI/CD.
• Good understanding of SDLC/STLC.
• Experience in defect tracking with Jira.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for web applications.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Java or another relevant programming language.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute automated test suites, investigate failures, and work closely with developers to resolve defects.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Track defects and testing activities using tools such as Jira.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities and collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
• Continuously improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall software quality.

RequiredSkills

• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Good programming/scripting skills, preferably Java.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
• Knowledge of automation framework design, including Page Object Model (POM) and reusable test components.
• Experience with API testing, preferably using Postman or REST Assured.
