Job summary

TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Software Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver in Singapore.

The role requires 4+ years of testing experience, strong Java skills, and hands-on experience with CI/CD, Jira, and API testing. You'll work in an Agile environment and contribute to test framework enhancements. Fixed-term contract (1 year) based in Changi Business Park.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software testing experience with hands-on Selenium automation.
• Strong Java or other programming language skills.
• Experience with TestNG or JUnit.
• Familiarity with Page Object Model and reusable test components.
• API testing experience with Postman or REST Assured.
• Familiarity with Git and Jenkins CI/CD.
• Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
• Defect tracking with Jira.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for web apps.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks in Java or similar language.
• Translate requirements into effective test scenarios and cases.
• Execute automated tests, analyze failures, and collaborate with developers to fix defects.
• Integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Track defects and testing activities in Jira.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for web applications.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Java or another relevant programming language.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute automated test suites, investigate failures, and work closely with developers to resolve defects.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Track defects and testing activities using tools such as Jira.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities and collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
• Continuously improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall software quality.

RequiredSkills

• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
