Job summary

ASA Contracts Private Limited invites a qualified Quantity Surveyor to join our on-site team in Singapore. You will manage and monitor project budgets, cost controls and final accounts from award to completion, including VO handling and timely progress claims.

A Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying and at least 2 years' experience are required. You will liaise with subcontractors and suppliers, prepare procurement lists, evaluate quotations, and ensure compliance with local standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveyor.
• Min 2-years of experience in Quantity Surveyor or relevant.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently under minimal supervision, good knowledge in local standards & requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor all budget & cost control of Projects assigned and ensure project runs within budget.
• Handle project from award of contract till completion including final accounts; prepare procurement list and schedule according to Architect specification.
• Source, liaise, compile and evaluate quotations from subcontractors according to requirement, specification and time schedule; including drafting of Subcontract Document.
• Record all defects of works, ensure proper documentation for all variation orders and others; ensure timely submission of VO cost and progress claims.
• Evaluate all VO claims from sub-contractors and ensure all variation orders are carried out in order & according to proper procedure.
• Follow up on payment certificates to sub-contractors and payment advice to client; handle progress claims/ payments, VO & finalize projects.
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned.
