Job summary

RTX is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to coordinate daily activities of a team of technicians onsite in Singapore. You will lead cell operations to meet quality, delivery, and productivity targets, and drive TPM and safety compliance.

The role requires a diploma/degree in engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience and at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity in a precision engineering setting. Shifts are bi-monthly rotating.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering/Aeronautical Engineering with at least 2 years relevant experience.
• At least 1 year in supervisory/leadership role in a precision engineering environment.
• Must be able to work bi-monthly rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities of Manufacturing Technicians to meet specifications, schedules, volume, cost, wastage, and quality standards.
• Lead and supervise manufacturing technicians in cell to meet product quality and delivery expectations.
• Manage cell's daily output targets, operational efficiency and productivity.
• Determine overdue and current load position and plan material release 3–6 months ahead.
• Ensure operator TPM compliance for optimum machine uptime.
• Plan, direct, supervise, and evaluate workflow; drive improvements in efficiency.
• Coach and develop technicians' skills and manage performance.
• Provide analysis and presentations to Leadership when called upon.
• Other tasks as assigned by Manager.
