Job summary

RTX seeks a seasoned Manufacturing Leader in Singapore to oversee operations, drive lean transformation, and optimize production systems across the manufacturing spectrum. The role focuses on planning, cost control, and collaboration with suppliers and customers to meet strategic objectives.

Applicants should have a strong background in aviation manufacturing, extensive managerial experience, and proven problem-solving skills using A3, 8D, and DMAIC methodologies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical / Aerospace / Production / Materials Engineering or equivalent.
• Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt or Lean certification is preferred.
• APICS CPIM certification preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of related experience in the aviation industry.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive managerial experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operations function and ensure production activities meet objectives and standards.
• Develop and implement production systems and processes; monitor cost and effectiveness.
• Plan and control manufacturing including materials, scheduling, machines and people; coordinate suppliers and customers.
• Lead capacity planning to ensure capacity supports demand and take action to meet demand.
• Drive lean manufacturing implementation to achieve true north of one-piece flow, zero defects and continuous flow.
