Job summary

Vault Personnel Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Onsite IT System Engineer to deliver reliable day-to-day technical support and infrastructure administration for client environments in Singapore. The role covers Windows Server, Active Directory, M365, FortiGate, VPN, and related network services on-site and remotely.

You will own incidents from assessment to resolution, collaborate with L1/L2/L3 teams, and help maintain SLA targets while documenting thorough service records and future improvements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in onsite IT support, system administration or an MSP environment.
• Hands-on ability to troubleshoot endpoint, Microsoft 365, Windows Server and network issues independently.
• Practical FortiGate firewall administration experience is strongly preferred.
• Basic PowerShell knowledge and experience with backup, antivirus, endpoint-security and patch-management solutions are advantageous.
• Strong customer-service, communication, time-management and technical-documentation skills.
• Able to prioritise multi­ple requests, travel between customer sites when assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and standard business applications.
• Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft Office, Outlook, VPN, printing, endpoint performance and application issues.
• Install, configure, replace and upgrade hardware, software, peripherals and approved applications.
• Support user onboarding, offboarding, account changes, equipment deployment and asset handover.
• Coordinate warranty cases and third-party vendor support, and maintain professional communication at customer sites.
• Create, modify, disable and manage Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID user accounts; manage groups and permissions.
• Manage Microsoft 365 licences, Exchange Online mailboxes, and SharePoint Online access and OneDrive synchronisation.
• Monitor Windows Server environments, perform health checks, patching, backups and capacity monitoring.
• Troubleshoot FortiGate firewall policies, NAT and VPN; assist with security logging and upgrades.
• Record all requests and resolutions in Autotask PSA; own incidents through resolution and SLA targets.
