Zusammenfassung

FASTSTREAM RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a technically strong support engineer to diagnose and resolve issues across hardware, software, networking and marine integrations.

The role includes hands-on work onboard vessels calling at Singapore ports 2–3 times per week, remote troubleshooting, and collaboration with vessel crews and customer IT teams. You will own technical cases from diagnosis to resolution, contribute to installations, upgrades and testing, and participate in an on-call

Qualifikationen

Hands-on experience in technical support, field service or systems engineering.
Strong Linux troubleshooting skills with command-line diagnostics and logs.
Solid networking knowledge including IP, routing, DNS, firewalls and VPNs.
Familiarity with marine data and vessel equipment integration.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities and ownership of cases.

Aufgaben

Investigate and resolve issues involving hardware, software, networking and integrations.
Troubleshoot vessel connectivity, including VSAT, firewalls, VPNs and network configs.
Support remote installations, upgrades, maintenance and testing.
Attend vessels in Singapore to diagnose faults and perform onboard installations.
Analyse system logs, document root causes and escalate where needed.
Manage customer issues to resolution with clear communication.
Participate in on-call rotation for installations and operations outside hours.
