Job summary

Koh Civil Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a Safety Coordinator to ensure WSH compliance on construction sites and to support safety program implementation. You will conduct regular inspections, review RA/SWP, and lead toolbox talks, while coordinating with project teams and subcontractors to maintain safe operations.

The role requires a WSQ Level B certificate, 2+ years of site safety experience, and ability to work across multiple sites in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Possess WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) or other accepted qualification for WSH Coordinator duties.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant construction site safety experience.
• Familiar with Singapore WSH regulations and construction safety requirements.
• Knowledge of Risk Assessment, Safe Work Procedures and Permit-to-Work systems.
• Willing to work at different project sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, company safety policies and site safety requirements.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections to identify hazards, unsafe practices and potential risks.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP) and other safety documentation.
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings, safety briefings and worker safety inductions.
• Monitor workers' compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements and safe working practices.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Supervisors and subcontractors to ensure safe site operations.
• Assist in investigating workplace accidents, incidents and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records, inspection reports, training records and other WSH documentation.
• Assist with MOM inspections, safety audits and implementation of corrective actions.
• Perform other safety-related duties assigned by Management.
