Job summary

RICH CONSTRUCTION COMPANY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Safety Officer to ensure compliance with WSH and environmental regulations on construction sites in Singapore.

You will follow up inspection findings, assist in incident investigations, and help organize safety meetings and reports. The role requires an Advance Certificate in WSH and a minimum of 2 years in the building and construction industry, with strong interpersonal and analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) required.
• Minimum 2 years in Building and Construction.
• Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills and analytical ability.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with HDB BTO is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operations comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH), Environmental Control regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Follow up on site walk inspection findings, support WSH Officer in closing out reports, and assist in incident investigations.
• Ensure daily safety checklists are completed and documented, and conduct weekly mass toolbox meetings.
• Coordinate with site personnel to improve worksite safety standards and site cleanliness.
• Ensure supervisors and workers adhere to approved safe work procedures.
• Assist in organizing monthly Safety Committee meetings and preparing safety reports, including tracking safety issues.
• Compile and maintain safety records and reports, and conduct daily site safety inspections.
• Supervise workers to ensure safety measures are implemented per MOM regulations.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
