Job summary

Penta Ocean Construction is seeking an EHS Coordinator for a full‑time project role in Singapore. The incumbent will report to the Project In‑charge and EHS Leader, driving EHS plans, policies and ongoing compliance on site.

Responsibilities include educating staff, maintaining records, conducting risk controls, and supporting incident investigations, with a focus on preventing reoccurrences and ensuring safe operations at the project site.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as EHS coordinator in civil/building/infrastructure projects
• In-depth knowledge of local WSH and Environmental legislation and procedures
• Proficient with MS Office; familiarity with safety management software is a plus
• Ability to influence stakeholders and lead by example as EHS custodian
• Excellent communication skills for trainings and reporting

Responsibilities

• Support Project EHS Plan, policies, targets and programs
• Educate and advisory on EHS compliance to project staff and subcontractors
• Maintain EHS records and participate in meetings
• Assist in EHS incident investigations and return‑to‑work programs
• Stop unsafe acts and enforce preventative measures
• Conduct routine checks on project tools and equipment
• Prepare EHS statistics and reports for management
• Collect worker feedback and participate in evaluations
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
