Job summary

W EMPIRE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Safety Supervisor/Coordinator for a full-time, on-site role on construction projects. You will supervise site activities, enforce WSH compliance, and drive proactive safety measures to protect workers.

You will identify hazards, conduct risk assessments, verify SWPs, and coordinate with ASM/PSM to ensure high-risk operations are controlled and recorded, with a strong emphasis on prompt corrective actions and site-wide safety reminders.

Qualifications

• WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as Safety Supervisor/Coordinator in Singapore.
• Experience with contractor site work is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily inspections to identify unsafe acts and conditions.
• Ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
• Supervise all work activities to comply with WSH Act, WSH Regulations, and project safety requirements.
• Verify SWPs and RAs are followed.
• Identify workplace hazards and report during construction activities.
• Recommend and implement appropriate control measures.
• Communicate site hazards, control measures, and safety reminders to workers and site supervisors.
• Supervise High Risk activities such as lifting operations, work at height, excavation, confined space entry, hot works, demolition, and piling.
