Job summary

The Salvation Army - Peacehaven Nursing Home in Singapore is seeking a capable Nurse Manager to lead the RN/EN, NA/HA team and uphold MOH/SNB standards. The role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, quality improvements, staff orientation, and performance management in a residents-focused setting.

Ideal candidates hold a BSc in Nursing, are SNB registered, and have 2–3 years of Nurse Manager or nurse clinician experience in a nursing home or ward.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or an equivalent nursing qualification.
• Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Min 2 to 3 years of Nurse Manager / Nurse clinician experience in nursing home / ward setting.
• Dynamic, motivated, and a strong team player.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the team of RN/EN, NA/HA under her charge.
• Responsible for compliance of all nursing standards as stipulated by MOH and SNB.
• Ensure compliance with existing and enhanced regulatory and licensing requirements.
• Oversee the efficient and safe day-to-day operations within nursing homes as well as monitor and enforce compliance to operational SOP and policies.
• Track and review Nursing key performance indicators and continuously identify areas of improvements and gaps.
• Lead and/or participate in various quality and continuous improvement projects to improve care standards.
• Collaborate with other members of the care team to provide and achieve the best outcomes to residents
• Participate in orientation, training and performance management of care staff.
• Guides orientation /induction programmes and preceptorship for all new staff.
• Oversee, track and report on status and progress of projects assigned that could involve the setting up of new facilities, work processes or programmes.
• Involvement in other areas of the company's business as necessary from time to time.
