Sree Narayana Mission in Singapore is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead residential nursing services and ensure high standards of resident care. You will oversee daily operations, staffing, training, and collaboration with medical staff to deliver holistic care.

Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, coordinating care plans, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving quality improvements to meet residents’ needs and safety standards in a busy home setting.

Qualifications

Degree in health-related subject or equivalent recognised by Singapore Nursing Board.
At least two years in a similar nursing home role or 6+ years as Senior Staff Nurse in hospital.
State Registered Nurse license and practising license required.
Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for elder care.

Responsibilities

Responsible for professional nursing care of all residents by overseeing daily operations and staffing.
Plan and execute holistic care to meet residents’ needs and ensure regulatory compliance.
Liaise between Nursing, medical practitioners, dietitian and pharmacists to facilitate care.
Coordinate nursing services according to standards; evaluate and improve resident care activities.
Plan and schedule daily work for nursing staff to determine staffing requirements and shifts.
Educate and supervise correct nursing practices and high service standards; guide nurses in quality care.
Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to the Director of Nursing.
Coordinate induction and orientation for new or promoted staff; conduct performance appraisals.
Conduct nursing rounds to identify and close gaps in care; communicate with staff and relatives.
