Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead the nursing team in a hospital setting in Singapore. The role emphasizes staff development, career progression, and high standards in patient safety and infection control.

Responsibilities include managing orientation and competency assessments, mentoring the team, coordinating staff schedules, and building strong relationships with doctors to optimise patient and doctor experiences.

Competenze

• Min Degree in Nursing.
• Min 2 to 3 years of experience as nurse manager / Assistant Nurse manager in hospital setting.
• Executive Suite (Ward)

• Engage and retain staff through career progression and recognize outstanding performers.
• Increase unit specific capability and develop competent nursing staff.
• Has overall responsibility for the orientation, induction, nursing competency assessment, staff learning needs and plans for self and nurses' career progression.
• Role model the desired team and leadership behaviour.
• Enhance safety culture by reducing sharp injuries.
• Facilitate reviews with staff on HOR and ensure plans are implemented to minimize future occurrences.
• Improve infection control practices and reduce risks of health care associated infection.
• Perform check on the integrity of the sterile instruments, instrument sets and packs from the storage to usage.
• Build strong relationships with doctors.
• Ensure customer satisfaction, resolve and follow through service/quality/medico-legal issues.
• Set unit goals and objectives in consultation with the clinical team and DON.
• Nurture nurses' progression through mentoring and role modelling.
• Plan staff schedule as per organization guidelines to ensure there is efficient use of adequate skill mix.
