Netpoleon Solutions in Singapore is seeking a cybersecurity engineer to design and implement automation, integration, and DevSecOps practices. You will work on security automation scripts, SIEM/SOAR integrations, and cloud deployments, contributing to secure, scalable infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cybersecurity automation scripts and applications.
• Build integrations between security products, ITSM tools, SIEM platforms, and cloud services.
• Develop custom dashboards, reporting tools, and data visualization modules.
• Automate repetitive security operations and incident response workflows.
• Develop API-based integrations for cybersecurity platforms.
• Enhance internal engineering tools and portals.
• Integrate and support cybersecurity solutions such as SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, IAM/PAM, DLP, CSPM, Vulnerability Management, Threat Intelligence Platforms.
• Work with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and webhooks.
• Troubleshoot integrations and automation workflows.
• Support CI/CD pipeline security integration.
• Develop secure coding and deployment practices.
• Support containerized deployments with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Work with Linux and Windows environments.

Job Responsibilities:

Security Automation & Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain cybersecurity automation scripts and applications

Security Platform Integration:

• Integrate and support cybersecurity solutions such as:

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or other related technical disciplines.
• Candidates with 2–5 years of experience in programming or cybersecurity engineering are preferred, while fresh graduates with strong technical foundations in programming and cybersecurity are also encouraged to apply.
• Strong hands-on experience in one or more programming or scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash/Shell Scripting, JavaScript, Java, C#, or GoLang ( Advantageous) is required.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON/XML, OAuth and authentication methods, SIEM concepts, and automation workflows is required.
• Good understanding of Linux and Windows Server environments, networking fundamentals, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, firewalls, and proxies is essential for this role.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and DevOps technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines will be an added advantage.

Other Information:

• Working hours: 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday*
• Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experiences
• 13th month AWS / Variable bonus
• Training will be provided.
• The role will be suitable for individuals with a strong technical background and professional experience, aiming to transition into a senior technical role at our Singapore office in the future.
