Job summary

Netpoleon is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to join their Singapore office. The successful candidate will design and maintain cybersecurity automation scripts, integrate cybersecurity solutions, and support CI/CD pipeline security. Applicants should have a diploma or degree in related fields and 2-5 years of experience in programming or cybersecurity. Strong skills in languages like Python and understanding of REST APIs are essential. A hybrid work environment may be expected, and training will be provided.

Job Responsibilities:

Security Automation & Development

• Design, develop, and maintain cybersecurity automation scripts and applications
• Build integrations between security products, ITSM tools, SIEM platforms, and cloud services
• Develop custom dashboards, reporting tools, and data visualization modules
• Automate repetitive security operations and incident response workflows
• Develop API-based integrations for cybersecurity platforms
• Enhance existing internal engineering tools and portals

Security Platform Integration

• Integrate and support cybersecurity solutions such as:
  • SIEM
  • SOAR
  • EDR/XDR
  • IAM/PAM
  • DLP
  • CSPM
  • Vulnerability Management
  • Threat Intelligence Platforms
• Work with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and webhooks
• Perform troubleshooting for integrations and automation workflows

DevSecOps & Infrastructure

• Support CI/CD pipeline security integration
• Develop secure coding and deployment practices
• Support containerized deployments using Docker or Kubernetes
• Work with Linux and Windows environments
• Assist in infrastructure hardening and automation

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or other related technical disciplines.
• Candidates with 2–5 years of experience in programming or cybersecurity engineering are preferred, while fresh graduates with strong technical foundations in programming and cybersecurity are also encouraged to apply.
• Strong hands‑on experience in one or more programming or scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash/Shell Scripting, JavaScript, Java, C#, or GoLang (Advantageous) is required.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON/XML, OAuth and authentication methods, SIEM concepts, and automation workflows is required.
• Good understanding of Linux and Windows Server environments, networking fundamentals, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, firewalls, and proxies is essential for this role.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud infrastructure and DevOps technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines will be an added advantage.

• Working hours: 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday*
• Salary commensurate with qualifications and experiences
