Job summary

MHA - Singapore Police Force (SPF) is seeking a Management Executive to assist the Head (Personnel Management) in overseeing the management, deployment and wellbeing of Full-time NSFs throughout their National Service journey.

You will work with internal and external stakeholders to support safe deployment, sustained operational readiness and timely intervention. The role is placed under the Management Executive Scheme.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to communicate effectively in English, including minutes and submissions.
• Meticulous, independent, and well-organised with strong time-management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Access is advantageous.
• Relevant experience in manpower resource management or public sector is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head (Personnel Management) in coordinating Direct Enlistment Exercises for four annual NSI intakes and two Officer Cadet Trainee transfers, liaising with MINDEF/CMPB, MHA and other Home Team Departments; verify enlistment criteria and deploy NSFs.
• Assess pre-enlistment suitability and well-being with stakeholders; review self-declared requirements; establish risk categorisation; facilitate early referrals for cases needing further assessment.
• Support NSF well-being during enlistment and Police Officers' Basic Course; maintain records; coordinate with Training partners; monitor welfare; engage families when needed.
• Assess NSF postings; coordinate with Unit Manpower Officers to balance postings; alert management to high-risk cases; support mentorship and gradual exposure to operational demands.
• Conduct milestone interviews and coordinate Case Management Conferences with parent units, HTA medical stakeholders and PPSD for NSFs before deployment when intervention is needed.
• Maintain NSF databases and data analytics tools to consolidate interview data, identify cases needing attention, and support monthly reporting and follow-up actions.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to identify competency and training gaps and document near-miss incidents and after-action reviews to strengthen well-being and operational readiness.
