OMNIVISION in Singapore is looking for an intern to support the maintenance of the Design and Verification environment, assist with test case preparation, and contribute to design documentation. Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and possess knowledge in digital logic design, HDL, and programming (Python/C). The role offers hands-on exposure to performance analysis and deep learning concepts while working in a collaborative team setting.
Qualifications
Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (final year or pre-final year preferred).
Basic coursework or project exposure to digital logic design and HDL (Verilog/SystemVerilog).
Foundational understanding of convolution operations and number representations (fixed-point and floating-point).
Familiarity with programming in Python, C, Verilog, or SystemVerilog; experience in a Linux development environment is a plus.
Exposure to deep learning concepts such as CNNs or Transformer architectures is a plus.
Detail-oriented, eager to learn, and able to work in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
Support the maintenance of the Design and Verification environment.
Assist with test case preparation, log analysis, and bug triaging.
Contribute to design documentation with technical notes and block diagrams.
Run PPA analysis tools and interpret results with the design team.
Support performance modelling and data transaction analysis.
Develop familiarity with mathematics of convolution operators.
