Job summary

HP in Singapore is offering a 5–6 month full-time internship in NPI Mechanical/Mechatronics. You will work with the NPI Principal Technologist and engineering teams to prototype, test product concepts, and solve manufacturing and process challenges.

Ideal candidates are undergraduates in Mechanical or Mechatronics, with 3D CAD, FEA, CFD modelling, and hands-on problem solving. The role emphasizes collaboration across disciplines and a growth mindset.

Qualifications

• Current Bachelor or Master undergraduates in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Commit to a 5–6 month full-time internship starting January 2027.
• Proficient in 3D CAD, FEA and CFD modelling.

Responsibilities

• You will work closely with the NPI Principal Technologist and engineering teams.
• Develop and test product and tooling concepts through rapid prototyping.
• Solve manufacturing, process, automation, and product-related problems.
• Design and modify fixtures, jigs, and tooling.
• Support experiments, characterization studies, and NPI builds.
• Assist with data analysis, SPC, gage R&R, and engineering investigations.
• Collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines to introduce new technologies into production.
