Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a College Intern for New Product Introduction (NPI) IT Control Systems in Singapore. You will assist vendors with facility setup, prototyping, tooling tests, and machine commissioning while learning calibration, gage R&R, and NPI experiments.

You will collaborate with engineers to modify tooling, test designs, and debug PLCs and automation hardware. This internship emphasizes hands-on mechanical and software tasks within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate pursuing Electrical/Software Engineering or Computer Science.
• Commitment for 5-6 months full-time internship starting January 2027.
• Ability to apply engineering fundamentals and concepts.
• Familiarity with data analysis and SPC is a plus.
• Proficiency in CAD and PLC terminology is desirable.
• Experience with IT networking basics is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist vendors with facility setup and proto deployments.
• Support machinery landing and tooling installation and testing.
• Work with suppliers to develop mechanical fixtures and tooling modifications.
• Develop tooling modifications and mechanical design improvements.
• Assist engineers with process characterization and NPI experiments.
• Operate and assist in proto builds and experimental runs.
• Maintain documentation and backups for proto environments.
