Job summary

NTS Singapore seeks Head of NPI Engineering and Project Management to define and drive strategies for New Product Introduction, overseeing end-to-end delivery of NPI projects and ensuring on-time, within-scope, and on-budget results. You will lead cross-functional teams across manufacturing, supply chain, sales, planning, and customer support.

The role emphasizes governance, KPI tracking, risk management, and process improvements, with successful transition from NPI to high-volume manufacturing

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of manufacturing experience with parts/assembly and NPI exposure.
• 10+ years of project management experience, including at least 5 years in program management.
• Strong leadership experience managing cross-functional teams in complex global environments.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the NPI strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and manage NPI engineering and project management teams.
• Oversee end-to-end NPI project delivery ensuring on-time, in-scope, and within-budget execution.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across sales, manufacturing, supply chain, planning, and customer support.
• Establish and maintain project governance including timelines, milestones, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
• Identify and implement process improvements, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives using data and KPIs.
• Manage NPI budgets, financial tracking, risk mitigation, and ensure smooth transition from NPI to high-volume manufacturing (HVM).
