About the job NPI Engineer | Data Center Infrastructure | MNC | East

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive all New Product Introduction (NPI) activities within the plant, ensuring smooth transition from prototype to mass production.
• Liaise and collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, customers, and HQ/factory to manage product introduction activities, including packaging requirements.
• Create, review, and modify Bill of Materials (BOM) structures for assembly processes.
• Maintain and support Shop Floor Control (SFC) systems and SAP processes to ensure accurate production tracking and documentation.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of server and rack assembly processes to support product development and production readiness.
• Lead or participate in rack packaging design, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with customer standards.
• Drive process improvement initiatives through Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
• Provide production support during mass production runs, resolving issues to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Participate actively in ISO audits (internal and external), ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in an Engineering discipline with at least 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and analytical mindset.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities.
• Solid project management skills with proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives.
• A keen eye for detail with strong commitment to quality.
