Job summary

HP Singapore is seeking an NPDI Writing System Engineer to deliver printer system designs meeting print quality, reliability, and safety standards. You will support NPI projects with timely documentation and cross-organizational collaboration.

Responsibilities include participating in printer system development, data-driven analysis of nozzle health and color metrics, failure triage, and coordinating with Corvallis/San Diego teams and ISO manufacturing in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Material / Chemical engineering or relevant.
• Demonstrated analytical and empirical problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in spoken & written English.

Responsibilities

• Participate in printer system development to demonstrate PHA and/or Ink baseline performance.
• Collaborate on Pen fluidic and ink characterization and provide data on ink performance.
• Autopsy/Triage/Failure tracking and reporting of analyses with next steps.
• Lead issue resolution using structured problem-solving methods.
• Collaborate with Corvallis/San Diego teams and Singapore printer partners.
• Interact with Ink Supplies Organization manufacturing teams.
• Transfer & support printhead manufacturing qualification.
