IQ-EQ Singapore is seeking a Nominee Director to oversee governance and fiduciary responsibilities for client entities. The role requires navigating complex regulatory landscapes, ensuring compliance with the Singapore Companies Act and internal policies, and guiding governance processes across multiple entities.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services industry, preferably with exposure to regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of governance, statutory and fiduciary requirements in financial services.
• Experience serving in governance roles or director appointments is advantageous.
• Professionalism, judgment and stakeholder management skills are required to fulfill nominee directorship responsibilities.

Job Description

What you'll do

• You’ll serve as the Nominee Director for assigned client entities in accordance with engagement requirements.
• You’ll fulfill all Nominee Director responsibilities while ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements, including the Singapore Companies Act.
• You’ll oversee corporate governance matters and maintain high standards of regulatory and fiduciary compliance.
• You’ll identify and communicate potential business growth opportunities to management while carrying out client engagements.
• You’ll perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager to support business and client needs.

Qualifications

• You have experience in the financial services industry, with exposure to regulated financial environments preferred.
• You possess a strong understanding of organizations operating within the investment, portfolio management, and asset management sectors.
• You have knowledge of industry practices, governance requirements, and business structures relevant to financial services firms.
• You bring prior experience serving in a similar appointment or corporate governance role, which would be highly advantageous.
• You demonstrate the professionalism, judgment, and stakeholder management skills required to effectively fulfill nominee directorship responsibilities.
