Job summary

IQ-EQ is seeking a Nominee Director in Singapore to oversee client entities in line with engagement requirements and regulatory compliance under the Singapore Companies Act. You will drive governance, fiduciary standards and stakeholder relations while supporting client engagements.

The role requires strong knowledge of financial services firms and experience in corporate governance, with a focus on risk management and regulatory adherence in a diverse environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Understanding of investment, portfolio management and asset management sectors.
  • Knowledge of governance requirements and business structures in financial services firms.
  • Prior experience in a similar appointment or corporate governance role would be advantageous.
  • Professionalism, judgment and stakeholder management for nominee directorship responsibilities.

  • Serve as the Nominee Director for assigned client entities in accordance with engagement requirements.
  • Fulfill all Nominee Director responsibilities while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, including the Singapore Companies Act.
  • Oversee corporate governance matters and maintain high standards of regulatory and fiduciary compliance.
  • Identify and communicate potential business growth opportunities to management while carrying out client engagements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager to support business and client needs.

Job Description

What \’you do


  • You\'ll serve as the Nominee Director for assigned client entities in accordance with engagement requirements.

  • You\'ll fulfill all Nominee Director responsibilities while ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements, including the Singapore Companies Act.

  • You\'ll oversee corporate governance matters and maintain high standards of regulatory and fiduciary compliance.

  • You\'ll identify and communicate potential business growth opportunities to management while carrying out client engagements.

  • You\'ll perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager to support business and client needs.

Qualifications

About you


  • You have experience in the financial services industry, with exposure to regulated financial environments preferred.

  • You possess a strong understanding of organizations operating within the investment, portfolio management, and asset management sectors.

  • You have knowledge of industry practices, governance requirements, and business structures relevant to financial services firms.

  • You bring prior experience serving in a similar appointment or corporate governance role, which would be highly advantageous.

  • You demonstrate the professionalism, judgment, and stakeholder management skills required to effectively fulfill nominee directorship responsibilities.
