Job summary

NEWTONE CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Backend Developer to design and build secure, scalable backend services supporting mobile SDKs and digital payment platforms.

You will develop APIs, integrate cloud and payment systems, and contribute to platform architecture in a security-conscious environment. Responsibilities include building secure backend services with Node.js, designing scalable APIs, and ensuring integration with cloud services, payment gateways, and authentication systems.

Qualifications

• Proficient in JavaScript backend development (Node.js).
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiar with secure API design and authentication.
• Experience with cloud deployment and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and build secure backend services using Node.js.
• Develop scalable APIs and service layers for mobile apps and platforms.
• Ensure secure integration with cloud services, payment gateways, and auth systems.
• Maintain management dashboards for operational monitoring and admin tasks.
• Collaborate with mobile SDK teams on backend integrations for payments.
• Contribute to secure API architectures for digital identity and payments.
• Apply object-oriented design and modern backend practices.
• Prototype new features and platform enhancements.
• Participate in architecture reviews and tech discussions.
• Implement unit tests and automated testing frameworks.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and build automation tools.
• Provide Level 3 technical support for complex backend issues.
• Collaborate with security engineers and product teams on integrated payment solutions.
