Thales Singapore is seeking a proactive Production Supervisor (Night Shift) to oversee daily production operations in a high-tech manufacturing environment. You will lead production lines, manage manpower, coordinate with quality, process, and maintenance teams, and drive continuous improvement to meet production targets and quality standards.

The role requires a Diploma in Engineering and at least 3 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience supervising production operators and line leaders.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, planning, and workflow.
• Ability to manage shift operations independently and hit targets.
• Strong problem solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with quality systems, safety, and ISO 14001 practices.

Responsabilités

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to meet targets.
• Allocate manpower, equipment, and resources to optimise output and minimise downtime.
• Prepare duty rosters, assign tasks, and approve overtime as required.
• Coordinate across quality, maintenance, and logistics to ensure smooth workflow.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve productivity.
• Troubleshoot issues and work with departments to resolve challenges promptly.
• Support projects including installation and commissioning of lines and machinery.
• Ensure production activities comply with quality standards and customer requirements.
• Identify non-conformities, document them, and drive preventive actions.
• Lead and motivate operators and line leaders to achieve targets and standards.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and environmental policies on the floor.
