Job summary

GE Vernova in Singapore seeks an experienced supervisor to oversee night shift operations across inspection, stripping, spraying and heat treatment. You will lead the shift, drive safety, quality and delivery goals, and coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime.

The role requires at least 3 years of manufacturing leadership, strong communication skills and the ability to work nights and respond promptly to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing with team lead or supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
• Able to work night shifts.
• Able to respond promptly to operational emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee night shift operations of incoming inspection, chemical stripping, thermal spraying and heat treatment.
• Conduct toolbox and DMS meetings covering safety, quality, delivery and cost (SQDC).
• Manage shift manpower deployment and attendance; elevate issues via MyAndon or other established channels.
• Ensure full compliance with EHS requirements including emergency response, incident investigation and reporting.
• Ensure full compliance with quality requirements; enforce standard work, follow work instructions and quality forms.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues; coordinate with Maintenance team to minimize downtime.
• Review risk assessments; conduct layered process reviews (LPR) and Gemba walks to identify and close gaps.
