Job summary

THALES DIS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. seeks a dedicated supervisor to oversee high-volume production lines, ensuring quality and adherence to schedules. You will mentor operators, coordinate shift work, and drive improvements in equipment performance and process efficiency.

Responsibilities include planning line workflows, supervising staff, managing training, and ensuring safety and housekeeping on the floor. A diploma in engineering and at least 3 years of supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• Three years of supervisory experience in high-volume, high-tech environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to improve efficiency.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production lines and subordinates; assist Production Manager to improve methods, equipment performance and quality.
• Plan and coordinate workflow to meet targets and schedules.
• Draw duty rosters; allocate work and authorize overtime; ensure safe operations.
• Troubleshoot production problems and plan new projects like line/machinery positioning.
• Suggest changes to working conditions and equipment to raise efficiency.
• Motivate and guide staff; manage performance appraisals and training development.
• Ensure safety and security of the production floor and maintain housekeeping.
• Initiate actions to prevent non-conformities and record related issues.
• Verify implementation of corrective actions; control nonconforming products.
