Job summary

Seagate Technology in Singapore is seeking a Senior Supervisor for Drive Operations on a permanent night shift. You will directly supervise Operators in a high-volume production area, ensuring safety, quality, and cost objectives are met.

You will lead a team of Manufacturing Specialists, coach and develop skills, monitor schedules, and collaborate with other departments to optimize lean processes and workflow.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or relevant disciplines.
• Proven experience of a supervisory role in manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing levels as needed to meet production targets.
• Maintain lean manufacturing principles, including Kaizen and 6S to optimize workflow and minimize waste.
• Lead and motivate a team of Manufacturing specialists fostering a culture of teamwork, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Provide coaching and guidance to team to enhance their skills, performance and high level of discipline.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
