Job summary

MTS GLOBAL PTE. LTD. is seeking an L1 Network Engineer for a permanent night shift at Changi Business Park, Singapore. You will support network operations and execute approved change requests in a banking environment.

This onsite role requires a diploma or degree in IT or related field, familiarity with TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and VLANs, plus experience in L1 support or NOC operations. CCNA certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in L1 network support, NOC, or IT infrastructure.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VLANs.
• Familiar with ticketing systems and incident/change management.
• CCNA certification is an advantage, banking environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network alerts and provide first-level troubleshooting for connectivity issues.
• Execute approved network change requests during scheduled maintenance windows, following documented procedures.
• Perform pre-change and post-change checks, document results, and escape any issues.
• Assist with basic configuration changes on network devices under senior engineers’ guidance.
• Log and maintain incident tickets, change records, and operational documentation.
• Coordinate with L2/L3 engineers to resolve incidents and support service restoration.
• Provide clear shift handovers and follow security and change management procedures.

Employment term: 12-month renewable contract

Salary: Up to SGD 4,500 per month

Work arrangement: Onsite, permanent night shift

• Good communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow technical procedures.

• Able to work onsite at Changi Business Park on a permanent night shift.

• CCNA certification and banking environment experience would be an advantage.
