Job summary

MTS Global Pte Ltd is seeking an L1 Network Engineer to support network operations in a banking environment. This onsite role is a permanent night shift at Changi Business Park, Singapore, with a 12-month renewable contract.

You will monitor alerts, perform first-line troubleshooting, and assist with basic device configurations under senior guidance. CCNA certification and prior NOC experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering or related field.
• Experience in L1 network support, NOC operations or IT infrastructure support.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing, switching and VLANs.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and change management processes.
• Onsite work at Changi Business Park on permanent night shift.
• CCNA certification and banking environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network alerts and provide first-level troubleshooting for connectivity issues.
• Execute approved network change requests during scheduled maintenance windows.
• Perform pre-change and post-change checks and document results.

• Log and maintain incident tickets, change records and operational docs.

Salary: Up to SGD 4,500 per month

Work arrangement: Onsite, permanent night shift

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network alerts and provide first-level troubleshooting for connectivity issues.

• Execute approved network change requests during scheduled maintenance windows, following documented procedures.

• Perform pre-change and post-change checks, document results, and escape any issues.

• Assist with basic configuration changes on network devices under senior engineers’ guidance.

• Log and maintain incident tickets, change records, and operational documentation.

• Coordinate with L2/L3 engineers to resolve incidents and support service restoration.

• Provide clear shift handovers and follow security and change management procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.

• Previous experience in L1 network support, NOC operations, or IT infrastructure support.

• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and VLANs.

• Familiarity with ticketing systems and incident/change management processes.

• Good communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow technical procedures.

• Able to work onsite at Changi Business Park on a permanent night shift.

• CCNA certification and banking environment experience would be an advantage.
