Job summary

Greensafe International Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Food Lab Assistant to prepare practical lessons, portion ingredients, organise utensils, and set up workstations for class sessions.

You will support practical sessions, distribute supplies, replenish ingredients, retrieve equipment, maintain inventory records, observe hygiene and safety standards, and assist with purchases and facility upkeep during service hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE N Level or equivalent.
• Valid WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 certification.
• At least 2 years' relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare practical lessons: portion ingredients, organise utensils/equipment, set up workstations.
• Support practical sessions: distribute supplies, replenish ingredients, retrieve equipment, reset workstations.
• Prepare materials for assessments, coursework investigations, and national practical exams
• Carry out routine cleaning of food labs, preparation/storage areas, utensils, and appliances; dispose of waste
• Assist with purchases/deliveries; maintain inventory records, monitor stock levels and expiry dates, and highlight replenishment needs
• Handle and store ingredients hygienically; observe dietary requirements and minimise food waste
• Conduct basic equipment checks, report defects/hazards, coordinate servicing, and complete shutdown/security checks
• Support departmental activities, maintain operational records, and coordinate requirements with teachers
• Perform other related food lab duties within agreed service hours

• Mon, Tue, Thur & Fri: 7am to 4pm
• Wed: 8.30am to 5.30pm
