Job summary

ST ENGINEERING URBAN SOLUTIONS LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across data centres, campuses, and security environments.

You will work with managers and engineers to deliver projects within scope, schedule, and budget. The role requires hands-on experience with Cisco routing/switching, firewall platforms, VPN, NAC, and system integration, plus strong documentation and testing skills for UAT

Qualifications

• CCNP or equivalent certification is required.
• Proven experience in enterprise network and firewall deployment, administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity practices and high-availability solutions is beneficial.

Work closely with the Technical Manager, Project Manager, and Engineer to deliver project within scope, schedule, and budget.

Prepare technical documentation, including detailed design document, deployment plan, migration plan, user manual, and customer workshop presentation.

Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure for data centre, campus, and security environments.

Perform system installation, configuration, testing, commissioning (T&C), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Deploy, administer, and support enterprise platform and technologies, including:

• Cisco Routing and Switching Solution
• Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise Networking Solution
• Fortinet Next-Generation Firewall and Security Platform
• Palo Alto Networks Firewall and Security Platform
• Network Access Control (NAC) Solution (ISE, ClearPass, etc.)
• VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL-VPN, Site-to-Site VPN)
• Wireless LAN Solution and Controller
• Load Balancer and Network Monitoring System (F5, KEMPLoadMaster, PRTG, SolarWind, etc)
• Perform network installation, system integration, testing, commissioning(T&C), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Conduct system troubleshooting, performance optimization, and root cause analysis across server, network and security platform, while providing technical support throughout project implementation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.

Hands‑on experience with the deployment, administration, and support of the following enterprise platforms and technologies will be considered an advantage:

• Microsoft Windows Server
• Linux (Ubuntu)
• Active Directory (AD)
• Windows Server Failover Cluster (WSFC)
• Microsoft SQL Server Failover Cluster Instance, Always on High Availability
• Virtualization (VMWare, Hyper‑V)

Job Requirements:

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent
• Proven experience in enterprise network and firewall deployment, administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity practices, vulnerability assessments, virtualization technologies, and high-availability solutions will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skill.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently, while also contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment.
