Job summary

MANPOWER STAFFING SERVICES (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking a network operations professional responsible for Router/Switch/Firewall services, incident handling, and problem resolution. You will work with internal clients and third-party vendors to ensure service levels and timely responses.

You should have CCNA level knowledge and a solid grasp of Ethernet, IPv4/IPv6, and TCP/IP routing, with experience recording incidents and collaborating across teams to deliver reliable network support.

Qualifications

• CCNA level or higher certification for Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto, Fortinet.
• Strong understanding of Ethernet, WAN/LAN (IPv4/v6), TCP/IP routing.
• Experience with network incident/problem management and ticketing system usage.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support Router/Switch/Firewall services and operations.
• Record/update incident and problem management in ticketing systems.
• Liaise with internal areas to ensure problems are resolved to customer satisfaction.
• Maintain awareness of customer service levels when handling issues.
• Notify internal clients of severity 1 and 2 problems.
• Coordinate callouts with Telco and hardware vendors as required.
• Develop and maintain processes for Network & Security Operations.
• Participate in projects providing guidance to ensure quality delivery.
• Identify key issues and priorities to deliver results with minimal supervision.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Router/Switch/Firewall services implementation, operational support, implementation and problem determination
• Accurately record/update incident/problem management systems on network alerts, faults and assigned tickets.
• Liaise with other technical areas internally where necessary to ensure customer reported problems are resolved to the customer satisfaction
• High awareness of individual customer service levels when dealing with problems.
• Interact with internal clients to ensure they are alerted on severity 1 and 2 problems
• Callout services to third parties as required – Telco & hardware vendors etc.
• Develop, implement, maintain processes and procedures as required for the Network & Security Operations Group
• Participate in projects that require instruction, guidance and advice in all aspects of the project to ensure delivery of quality outcomes.
• Be able to identify key issues, priorities and focusing on these to deliver required results with minimal direction and supervision

Required Skills:

• At least at CCNA level for Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto, Fortinet
• Strong understanding of Ethernet, WAN/LAN (IPv4/v6), TCP/IP routing, Network packet analysis tools use and configuration.
• Vendor and third-party supplier liaison skills.
