Job summary

RecruitSG is seeking a hands-on Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain and support enterprise networking solutions across a variety of infrastructure projects in Singapore. The role covers tender evaluation, design, implementation, commissioning, troubleshooting and post-sale support.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of networking experience, CCNP preferred, and strong TCP/IP, routing, switching and fibre/ethernet knowledge. ASEAN travel and after-hours support may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Telecommunications, Computer Networking or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of networking experience.
• CCNP certification or equivalent preferred.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs and enterprise networking.
• Experience with fibre-optic and Ethernet networks.
• Willingness to travel within ASEAN and provide after-hours support when required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement wired and wireless networking solutions.
• Develop HLDs, LLDs, network diagrams and technical documentation.
• Review tender specifications and develop compliant technical proposals.
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) and solution quotations.
• Coordinate procurement, equipment delivery and logistics activities.
• Configure switches, routers, firewalls and wireless infrastructure.
• Conduct FAT, SAT and UAT testing activities.
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support.
• Perform troubleshooting using Wireshark and other diagnostic tools.
• Support customer meetings, technical presentations and solution demonstrations.
• Maintain project documentation, reports and as-built records.

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain and support enterprise networking solutions across a variety of infrastructure and smart technology projects.

The successful candidate will play a key role throughout the entire solution lifecycle, from tender evaluation and solution design to implementation, commissioning, troubleshooting and customer support.
