Job summary
HR SG PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain and support enterprise networking solutions across various infrastructure and smart technology projects in Singapore.
You will manage the full solution lifecycle from tender evaluation to implementation, troubleshooting and customer support. The ideal candidate has a Diploma/ Degree in IT or related field, at least 3 years in networking, and skills in TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs and fibre-optic networks.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in IT, Telecommunications, Computer Networking or related discipline.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs and enterprise networking.
- Experience with fibre-optic and Ethernet networks.
- Strong technical documentation and proposal-writing skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement wired and wireless networking solutions.
- Develop HLDs, LLDs, network diagrams and technical documentation.
- Review tender specifications and develop compliant technical proposals.
- Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) and solution quotations.
- Coordinate procurement, equipment delivery and logistics activities.
- Configure switches, routers, firewalls and wireless infrastructure.
- Conduct FAT, SAT and UAT testing activities.
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support.
- Perform troubleshooting using Wireshark and other diagnostic tools.
- Support customer meetings, technical presentations and solution demonstrations.
- Maintain project documentation, reports and as-built records.
