Job summary

ECTIVISE SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Network Solutions Engineer to design, implement and support wired and wireless networks across fibre optic and Ethernet.

You will plan, deploy, test, and optimize solutions for customer requirements, ensuring high availability and smooth operation. The role requires CCNP certification, Wireshark proficiency, and willingness to travel within the ASEAN region.

Qualifications

• Experience in info-communications, technology, system integration, or telecommunications industries.
• Minimum 3 years’ Information Technology experience in the Enterprise arena.
• Diploma or Degree in Telecommunications or Information Technology or Computer Networking.
• At least a CGE O/N level English grade of C.
• CCNP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and implement wired and wireless networking solutions over fibre optic and ethernet networks to meet customer requirements.
• Conduct maintenance and provide after-office support for customer networks to ensure continuous operation.
• Lead Proof of Concept testing to validate new solutions and optimize network infrastructure for performance and reliability.
• Manage customer acceptance tests to confirm solution effectiveness and compliance with requirements.
• Maintain service levels and manage escalation KPIs to ensure high network availability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and engineers to promote knowledge sharing and innovation.
• Conduct technical training and presentations for internal teams, partners, and customers to support pre-sales activities and build confidence.
• Complete administrative tasks including bill of materials, quotations, meeting minutes, attendance logs, time sheets, service reports, and trouble ticket entries within specified deadlines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of internal work areas and customer sites to uphold professional standards.
• Provide hospitality to partners and customers visiting the office.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in info-communications, technology, system integration, or telecommunications industries
• Minimum 3 years’ Information Technology experience in the Enterprise arena
• Diploma or Degree in Telecommunications or Information Technology or Computer Networking
• At least a C grade in English at CGE O or N levels
• Willingness to consider work-study program at ITE or Polytechnic
• At least a valid CCNP certification
• Skilled in Wireshark capturing and interpretation for network analysis
• Experience working in the ASEAN region and willingness to travel as required
• Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills across organizational levels
• Resilience to work under high pressure, multitask, and adapt in fast-paced, matrixed environments such as construction
• Able to use Vision or AutoCAD
• Willingness to work after office hours, weekends, and overtime to meet customer needs
